This damage can result in gradual vision loss, starting with peripheral vision and potentially leading to tunnel vision and eventual blindness.

Glaucoma is often referred to as the “silent thief of sight” because it typically progresses slowly and without noticeable symptoms until significant vision loss has occurred.
